Agroturn

At Agroturn we have been developing complete engineering services for Turnkey Greenhouse Projects, including heating, electrical, and irrigation systems according to the customer's needs, for many years and all over the world. The alliance with different companies for the whole world makes our projects stronger. We design and engineering all kinds of Projects: Foil Greenhouse, Venlo Greenhouse, Tropical Greenhouse.

We are a Dutch company dedicated to creating IT solutions for greenhouses.

Our goal is to revolutionize and modernize the world of agriculture using the latest software technologies such as Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, among others.

We seek to bring the innovation that the industry has lacked for several years.

Currently, food production is inefficient, causing sales prices to be very high. This, coupled with increased demand and environmental pollution, contribute to the current food crisis.

At Agroturn we want to break this paradigm. With current technologies, we are creating programs that allow us to produce more at a lower cost and avoid wasting resources. This allows to lower production costs thus making them more accessible to the consumer.

We take care of generating tools that allow a better understanding and management of the greenhouse in a simple and precise way.

Emiddio comes from construction company and it's the chief for all engineering projects.

Emiddio was civil Engineer in Italy, and moved to Netherlands to work in civil construction projects.

Due to Emiddio experience and fluent in 5 languages become soon a leading engineer for greenhouse projects.

In Agroturn, he is the leading designer for all systems of irrigation and heating.

In Agroturn, he designed the hydroponic irrigation for 2 high technology projects, of of the 100.000m2 in plastic greenhouse and the other 200.000 m2 of irrigation and fog system for Venlo type greenhouse.

Juan Chamorro

Founder and CEO


Comes from a Greenhouse builder family and with more than 20 years of experience in greenhouse building projects. He personally participated and built more than 110 has in the Russian Federation in 6 years.

Juan Chamorro studied in UJI Business management from 1998 to 2002, with a breaking period from 1999 to 2000 that went to work in Ludvig Svensson B.V. in The Netherlands.

From 2003 to 2004 Studied a Master Bachelor's degree in International Business in Brussels and Hartford.

In 2004 started to work in family company Inverca, for the greenhouse business, as an export manager, his biggest achievement was to duplicate in 2 years the turnover of the company, and to make that export it was 80% of total Turnover.

In 2007, he moved to the Netherlands to open a subsidiary of the company Inverca, and succeed to achieve export credit for international customers.

From 2009 to 2014 Develop internationally the company, opening markets in South Korea, Costa Rica, Russia, Romania, Italy, Hungary, and becoming the leader of Market in Turkey, with more than 250 has turnkey projects around the world.

In 2015 created Agroturn to solve the need for good engineering in markets as Russian, and Agroturn has been collaborating with other Dutch companies as Priva, Philips, Agrolux, Hortilux, GlobalAGro, Formflex, Svensson, Grodan... to develop tailor-made greenhouse projects.

Growing manager


Robert was a Gerbera grower from 1997 to 2007.

From 2007 to 2010 he was general manager o Colours of Nature.

On 2011 he was commercial manager at Gro4u.

On 2011 Commercial manager at Van den Berg Group.

From 2012 to 2014 Export Manager in Certhon.

From 2014 to 2017 General manager at GreenAgro projects BV.
